God’s Blueprint

GREAT ARCHITECTS DESIGN GREAT DWELLINGS. When God instructed Moses to build Him a tabernacle with its altar, ark and furnishings, he said, “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” Hebrews 8:5, NIV How much more should we Christians pay attention to the New Testament blueprint God has given us for his living, eternal temple—the church of Christ? Centuries of neglect and preoccupation with competing traditions have taken a heavy toll, but God ultimately will not be denied what He designed and his Son paid so dearly to redeem.
